1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FraudShield ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is provided by CloudTrunk Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India.

2. Description of Service

FraudShield is a scam detection and protection app that helps users identify potentially fraudulent URLs, UPI IDs, phone numbers, SMS messages, and QR codes. The App uses on-device analysis and an optional API service to provide threat assessments.

3. Important Disclaimers

FraudShield is an informational tool, not a guarantee of safety. While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date threat databases, no scam detection system is 100% accurate. The App may produce false positives (flagging safe items as threats) or false negatives (missing actual threats).

⚠The App does not replace common sense and due diligence

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FraudShield. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

•Use the App only for personal, non-commercial scam protection purposes
•Not use the App to harass, defame, or file false reports against individuals or businesses
•Provide accurate information when reporting scams
•Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
•Not use the App to circumvent fraud detection systems or aid in fraudulent activities

6. Scam Reports & Community Data

When you report a scam through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that report data to improve our threat database and protect other users. All reports are subject to manual review. We reserve the right to reject reports that appear to be false or malicious.

7. False Positive Disputes

If you believe a URL, phone number, or UPI ID has been incorrectly flagged as a threat, you can submit a dispute through the App. Disputes are reviewed manually and will never be auto-accepted to prevent abuse by scammers.

8. Intellectual Property

FraudShield, its design, code, threat databases, and all associated content are the intellectual property of CloudTrunk Technologies Private Limited. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal device.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CloudTrunk Technologies shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes but is not limited to financial losses resulting from scams that the App failed to detect, or losses arising from false positive detections.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our API services if we detect misuse or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
