Our Privacy Promise
Your health data stays on your iPhone. Always.
JabJournal is built by CloudTrunk Technologies to help people using GLP-1 medications track their journey privately. We believe health data is deeply personal — so we built an app that never sees it.
Where Your Data Lives
All your health data — injections, medications, symptoms, weight logs, nutrition — is stored only on your iPhone using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your information.
Apple Health Integration
JabJournal can optionally read from and write to Apple Health (HealthKit) if you grant permission. This data flows directly between your JabJournal app and Apple Health on your device. CloudTrunk Technologies never receives any HealthKit data.
Read access (optional): weight, water intake, nutrition data
Write access (optional): logged entries you choose to sync
You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time via iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → JabJournal.
What We Don't Do
Notifications
If you enable injection reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. No reminder schedule is ever sent to CloudTrunk or any third party.
Data Exports
JabJournal lets you export your data as PDF or CSV files for your own records or to share with your healthcare provider. Exports are generated on your device and only shared via the iOS share sheet with apps you choose. We never receive exported files.
Deleting Your Data
Children's Privacy
JabJournal is not directed at children under 17. GLP-1 medications are prescription medications for adults. Because we collect no data, we cannot knowingly collect information from children.
Why We Built It This Way
Health data is among the most sensitive information a person can create. CloudTrunk Technologies builds enterprise software for governance and compliance — we understand the risks of data exposure. When we built JabJournal, we applied the same principle: your health data belongs to you, not to us.
Medical Disclaimer
JabJournal is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions regarding your medications or symptoms.
